Overall, the 10th edition of the Bouquet Festival di Sanremo 2026 concluded with strong attendance at the Civic Museum of Sanremo. In total, the event welcomed around 300 visitors, together with institutional representatives and industry professionals. At its core, the festival highlighted the quality of local floriculture and the creativity of the 15 competing floral designers.
An event that promotes the flower of Sanremo
Once again, the Bouquet Festival di Sanremo confirmed its role as a key reference event for the sector. Through contemporary styles and visual languages, the floral arrangements showcased local excellence. As a result, the event strengthened the link between floral art, local identity and territorial promotion.
Giorgia Mozzarelli wins the Bouquet Festival di Sanremo 2026
This year, the overall first prize was awarded to Giorgia Mozzarelli from Curtatone (MN). Notably, the floral designer won both the technical jury award and the honorary jury award.
Visibly moved, the winner said:
“I did not expect such a result. I simply aimed not to repeat the mistakes of last time. I am honoured to work with these flowers. They speak to me and have saved my life, becoming far more than a passion: they are my world.”
A professional journey shaped by passion and training
After nearly 20 years working as a chemist in an analysis laboratory, Giorgia Mozzarelli chose a new path. In particular, she decided to follow her dream and start an independent business. In her hometown, she took over a historic newsstand and transformed it into “Stranedicola”, an original project combining flowers and newspapers.
At the same time, she invested heavily in professional training. She attended technical courses, wedding design programmes, large-scale installations and seasonal composition workshops. Today, her work fully reflects her passion. Days start at dawn and end late in the evening. Nevertheless, the effort is rewarded by daily contact with the beauty of flowers. In addition, she also works as a freelance designer, convinced that every experience offers an opportunity to grow.

Great satisfaction was expressed by Ester Moscato, Councillor for Floriculture of the Municipality of Sanremo:
“This edition of the Bouquet Festival perfectly represents the quality and creativity of our floriculture. It is a result we are proud of and one that highlights the professionalism of participants from across Italy. Moreover, the event’s success, in terms of attendance and public appreciation, confirms the value of a project built with care and vision. The synergy with Councillor for Tourism Alessandro Sindoni and Councillor for Culture Enza Dedali was essential, placing the event within a broader strategy to promote the territory. Finally, I would like to thank the President of Amaie Energia, Sergio Tommasini, and all his collaborators for their outstanding work.”
