On Monday 19 January 2026, the Civic Museum of Sanremo hosts the final stages of the 10th edition of the national floral art competition “Bouquet Festival di Sanremo 2026”.
The event is promoted by the Mercato dei fiori di Sanremo in collaboration with the Municipality of Sanremo, Department of Floriculture.
The Bouquet Festival di Sanremo is a key national event for the floriculture sector. For ten editions, it has showcased creativity, technical skill and artistic interpretation. It promotes the floricultural excellence of Western Liguria and strengthens the link between floral art and territory.
Theme 2026: “Liguria’s Beauty”
The theme for the 2026 edition is “Liguria’s Beauty”. A tribute to nature and art.
The 15 floral designers selected by the technical committee create two formal bouquets, each within 30 minutes. One challenge focuses on beauty in nature. The other explores beauty in art.
Juries and evaluation criteria
A technical jury of industry professionals evaluates the works. It assesses originality, material selection, technique and execution time.
An honorary jury, made up of local authorities, awards a special prize for creativity and the promotion of local products.

Sergio Tommasini, President of Amaie Energia – Mercato dei fiori di Sanremo, says:
“The selected competitors are highly skilled floral designers. They come from all over Italy to work with products from the floriculture district, known and exported worldwide. This will be a high-level challenge.”
Ester Moscato, Councillor for Floriculture of the Municipality of Sanremo, adds:
“The Bouquet Festival is a major national event for promoting our flowers. The theme ‘Liguria’s Beauty’ allows competitors to fully express their technique and creativity. Our flowers are a strong symbol of the city’s identity.”
Special opening and awards ceremony
The Civic Museum of Sanremo opens exceptionally from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, thanks to the support of Councillor for Culture Enza Dedali.
The awards ceremony takes place at 4:30 pm. Public access opens at 4:00 pm.
The bouquets remain on display until the end of the event.
The final prize
The competition winner joins the official floral design team of the Sanremo Music Festival 2026. They create bouquets for singers and guests during the live broadcasts.
The winner also collaborates on floral installations requested by the Municipality of Sanremo.
The Municipality awards a weekend in the City of Flowers, a commemorative plaque, and participation in the Flower Parade jury.
The Bouquet Festival di Sanremo 2026 confirms Sanremo as a capital of Italian and international floriculture. The event blends tradition, production excellence and contemporary floral art.
